About us
Elaiopetra Hideaway rests in an elevated position in the hills of the stunning Valley of Livathos, just outside of the picturesque village of Kourkoumelata. It has magnificent views of the nearby island of Zakynthos, the Ionian Sea, olive groves and the lush countryside.
Elaiopetra gets its name from a Greek compound word which is freely translated as “olive-stone” (stone nestled in the olive groves).
A modern property with a rustic feel, built of stone with exposed timber gable roofs covered with tiles. It is nestled amongst sun-dappled olive trees and surrounded by a private beautiful garden with roses, colorful Mediterranean flowers & fruit trees, which contributes to a tranquil and dreamy environment.
This 100m2 single-story villa features 2 bedrooms – the master bedroom with king size bed & a second bedroom with 2 single beds that can be converted to king size. Both bedrooms use luxury mattresses. It has two bathrooms (en-suite in the master bedroom) with walk-in shower, open-concept living area & a fully- equipped kitchen that invites the aspiring chef to cook and includes an outdoor BBQ kitchen by the pool.
All rooms are equipped with luxury natural wood furnishings and are tastefully decorated in earth tones in harmony with the surrounding space that you view through the large windows overlooking the pool, garden and sea.
A sea breeze and a warm sunbeam greet you when you wake up in the bedroom, fresh from a good night’s sleep on your comfortably mattresses.
Savor your morning coffee in full privacy in your private garden, gazing at the olive trees & the sea.
Soak up the famous Greek sun in the private spacious (50m2) infinity swimming pool with a relaxing Jacuzzi waiting to take a refreshing dip. Pamper yourself as you relax on the spacious wooden sunbeds overlooking the Ionian sea.

LOCATION
In a very short walking distance (radius 350m) you will reach the village of Kourkoumelata, which has been characterized as a hidden treasure for its colorful houses, beautiful gardens and impressive sea views.
The airport of Kefalonia is 10 minute drive away, while the ports of Poros and Sami with ferry connections to Patras and the mainland is about an hour drive away.
Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia with its bars, restaurants and famous Caretta Caretta sea turtles, is 15 minute drive away.
Nearby beaches (Ai Helis, Avithos, Ammes, Platis Gialos, Makris Gialos), restaurants and markets are also a short drive distance.
